Joe Louis Walker’s career has spanned nearly six decades – and 24 studio albums – since first picking up the guitar at his childhood home in San Francisco at the young age of eight. Joining the local musicians’ union in his early teens enabled young Joe to perform publicly with the likes of John Lee Hooker, Buddy Miles, Thelonious Monk, Willie Dixon, Nick Lowe, John Mayall, Muddy Waters and even Jimi Hendrix. By the late 1980s and into the 1990s, Walker had already collaborated with and performed with multi-Grammy Award winning artists such as B.B. King (on King’s Blues Summit album) and James Cotton (on Cotton’s Deep In The Blues album) as well as enjoying the rare honor to perform at the Presidential Inauguration of President George H. Bush. In 2013, Walker was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame, later being nominated in four categories for a Blues Music Award. In 2015, his album Everybody Wants A Piece was nominated for a Grammy Award in the “Best Contemporary Blues Album” category.

Viva Las Vegas Live is available on global digital platforms along with the home entertainment version that will be packaged in a gorgeous, four-panel, 2 Disc Digipack containing a DVD and audio CD of the concert. The all-region DVD’s bonus features include an exclusive interview with Walker that was filmed backstage at the venue plus a rare, behind the scenes slideshow of Joe and his band as they prepare to storm through ten, smoking tracks in front of their adoring live audience. The lyrics were written in 1861 by Julia Ward Howe to fit the tune of “John Brown’s Body.” Since that time, the song has evoked and expressed sentiments of real patriotism, as well as religious fervor. LONDON, ENGLAND, June 28, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ — Critically acclaimed musician and songwriter Jamie Cullum, led the world’s first 5G music lesson from his piano at the two thousand year-old Roman Amphitheatre in London, playing live with amateur musicians in Bristol and Birmingham using 5G technology from EE, King’s College London, Smart Internet Lab at the University of Bristol and Digital Catapult.

The event, brought to you by the charity Music for All, demonstrates how technology can remove barriers to learning. The advent of 5G technology will ultimately deliver super low-latency (i.e. low delay) connectivity everywhere, enabling an Internet of Skills where skills can be shared with others wherever they may live, work and play.
Here, we are bringing together music teachers and aspiring musicians. Research shows that making music: helps people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to keep smarter, younger, healthier and more sociable.

An ambassador of the charity Music for All, Cullum taught musicians across the three different venues in a unique multi-site lesson, connecting the three cities across the UK, as if the musicians were playing in the same room. The locations included City of London Corporation’s Amphitheatre, Birmingham City University – Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and We The Curious in Bristol.

Musicians were connected from London to Birmingham and Bristol via 5G networks from King’s College London and EE.

The amateur musicians in Jamie’s 5G band were selected from an open call for applications by Jamie. The band included singer Lexi Milligan, guitarist and singer Jeremy Levif, singer and saxophonist Rosie Patton, singer and keyboard player Taylor Paisley-French, drummer Jakob Terry and bassist Alyson Knott. The band played one track from Jamie’s recently released album – Taller – and one classic track to an audience of two thousand cross the three locations and via a 5G-powered live stream.

The last time something this big happened in Hollywood goes back some 80 years when there was a world-wide search for the actress to play Scarlet O'Hara in "Gone With the Wind." Vivien Leigh succeeded, "Gone With the

If white, black, yellow or even green actresses decide to audition, imagine what Beyonce or Rihanna would lend to their style of auditions. What if Lady Gaga decided to wear a black wig. What if Margot Robbie wore ice skates. Or what if Ru Paul decided to give it a try. You get the picture.

After the auditions, I envision four to six actresses picked to play roles that they choose to re-create from Marilyn Monroe films. All the actresses will appear in their personal treatment of Marilyn's famously infamous "Happy Birthday, Mr President" at the Madison Square Garden for JFK. Now I ask who would not want to see that?

Through the new philanthropic initiative, the company (led by founders Justin Hill & Diana Upton-Hill) will pledge more than $50,000 in funding and in-kind services to worthy causes in the areas of Arts & Culture, Education, and Historic Preservation by early 2020.

Receiving nearly $25,000 in total, first round grant recipients include a diverse cross-section of local and regional 501(c)3 organizations. They are Main Street Centerville (Centerville, Iowa), Music con Brio (Madison, Wisconsin), International Center for Rural Culture & Art, Inc. (Allerton, Iowa), Corning Opera House Cultural Center (Corning, Iowa), Historic Preservation Corporation (Centerville, Iowa), Davis County High School Drama Club (Bloomfield, Iowa), and Art Center of Burlington (Burlington, Iowa).

With backgrounds in the entertainment and business worlds, Justin, Diana, and the entire HPMG team have pledged to make 2019 a year to “Do Love Well”. In 2016, Diana first gained major popularity as a country artist for the release of her single “Do Love Well”, promoting the “whatever you do, do love well” ideal. The single was followed up with a Billboard-charting hit “Southern Gentlemen”, which allowed Upton-Hill to travel the country promoting her message and music. Through HPMG’s “Do Love Well” 2019 Giving Initiative, the Hills and their company will offer grants of cash donations and in-kind services to deserving activities and organizations throughout the areas HPMG serves, including the Midwest region, and the greater Nashville, TN area.

Moore's first new book for 2019 is Revenge of the Birds. Moore's third new release comes available in August 2019 and is his seventh installment in the popular Santa's Elf Series. Also illustrated by his wife, Mary Moore, this book features Carol Joynote, Chief Music Coordinator for the North Pole. As with the other books in the series, there is a message from Santa Claus, himself, This message will be on diversity and treating everyone as you wish to be treated.
Moore is already hard at work on a new series featuring a time-traveling elf from his popular Santa Claus Trilogy for next year. The elf has to save the North Pole and its residents many times and does so by moving back and forth through time to acquire needed inventions and protections, with perilous danger to himself and others as he ripples the time continuum. He must do this while preventing disruption in the time fabric or significantly changing world events. The first of the series is due out in 2020.
